State Line Hill

A nice, soft-surface cut on State Line Hill. This was my first venture down the famous hill after all these years of visiting the area. I was surprised at how many rock cuts and dirt cuts like this there were on State Line Hill. Many more than I would have suspected. The fills we crossed were much longer and taller than I expected and I have a hard time imagining how much rock from the mine it took to make them. I think this would be considered a large project even by today's heavy machinery standards.
