Steel Thru Truss Bridge in the Doe River Gorge

This is the steel thru truss bridge on the other side of tunnel 4 from the steel deck bridge. Another recycled standard gauge bridge, the ET&WNC track was actually curved as it ran across this bridge. We're at the upper end of the Gorge here, Blevins and the Sand Tunnel (tunnel 5) is behind us and we're looking back down towards Hampton and Johnson City.
